Dynoed my car today @ DynaPack 3000. PIC inside

Hello guys,

I went to a shop today to tune and dyno my car. eventhough my car is pulling harder, but it was making 230whp and 168wtq. I'm really confused, i thought the different between the dynapack 3000 and dynojet is not hat big in numbers. My car was making 273whp & 235wtq.

So let me get this straight:

273whp & 235wtq was on a dynojet

230whp and 168wtq was on a dynapack?

Very strange. Although comparing different dyno's even from the same type is "wrong", you should still see higher numbers on a dynopack.

I myself made 265 whp & 245 whp on a dynapack. I would ask the shop.

It would also help if you showed us the graph.

it's not. the dyno is attached to the wheel hub, the jacks aren't holding up the car.

This dyno is useless unless you have some sort of baseline dyno to show how much you gained over stock.

Some dynojets/dynapacks might be calibrated differently than others, so its essential for you to dyno in the same place.

Do you have a stock dyno? Nevermind these numbers, they can be deceiving. 232 whp & 217 wtq "sounds" really low for your mods, but that's not really the issue.

Remember, the purpose of a dyno is for tuning purposes, so seeing these numbers without a stock baseline is senseless.

Also, I would present this "issue" with the coordinator of the dyno shop; you made 40 more whp on a dynojet. That sounds very strange.

I was making 250 whp and 227wtq on dynojet without the Utec, so making 27whp on dyno jet after the utec is correct for me ... don't you think

That's not my point.

My point is, a Dynapack usually reads significantly higher than a dynojet. But that doesnt seem to be the case here; its actually completely reversed in your case, which I find strange.

Like I said before, the dyno's are a bit useless without a stock baseline. I think you should have either stuck with the dynojet or the dynapack, because these two types of dynos are not comparable with each other.
