So the new motor and old motor make the same power? At least the new motor shows room for growth; with the same torque as the old motor it would make a lot more power. I don't know where they would find that power though.

No, the new HR makes more stock. Trey has done smart changes to the DE (?) to make it much better. He'll likely do the same on his wifes HR and make even better strides.

The plan is to do some work the HR but I'm not sure how much Trey is going to be pushing for it. At this point there just really isn't anything to do that is worth the money IMHO. I really want to get some test pipes but thus far there aren't any being made.

What about uprev osiris for the HR? I wonder if that would have any impact without other modifications. They have a base map for the HR - 350Z, but I think it was tuned for a HR motor w/ plenum spacer, JWT pop charger, and exhaust.

$700 is alot of clams for a few HP if that is all it will bring.

Yeah I can bring a whole new meaning to the word "cheap" so $700 is insane to me at this point. Maybe in a year or so.

We'll $700 is no chump change, that is for sure. But if it can bring an improved torque curve on a NA 35VQHR, I might be willing to give it a go.

That may be true but at this point that is a no go. Later on that might change - we'll see.

I haven't kept up with the Osiris hype, so I could be wrong, but I wasn't aware they had any maps for the HR. Plus, there is no such thing as a popcharger for the HR, not to mention a plenum spacer.

My information was according to the UPREV folks responding to my direct question to them about HR availability. I wouldn't know a pop charger from a pop tart, so I can only rely on what people tell me.

Will this work with the 35VQHR in the G35 sedan?
Need a guinea pig?
We have a base map for HR motor w/ plenum spacer, JWT pop charger, and exhaust.
