Thanks for the explanation. That seriously makes me question their credibility.

I guess we won't really know until someone gets one for the HR and runs some comparative dynos stock and reflashed.

BTW, great write up! Your attention to detail is impeccable.

Sorry about the confusion guys, I was thinking of a Rev Up not an HR. When you tune as many vehicles as I do it's not hard to start mixing up suffixes. We are working on the new Nissan ECU architecture which is used on the HR motors and hope to have something for you soon.

Now, I may be slow, looking at the comparison charts the '05 should be a better car on the street. It looks like the average numbers below 6000 rpm is leaning toward the '05.

How is it going from one car to the other and just going to the store or something?

You have to remember that we are comparing a bone stock HR against a revup with pretty much all the bolt-ons. But to be quite honest, her car feels stronger than mine. I know it's not. The dyno proves it, as do trips to the track. But for everyday driving, her car feels like it's stronger pretty much everywhere in the rpm range.

I think part of that is the age of my car, the mods, and the exhaust. Because of the exhaust and flywheel, my car as more internal NVH than her car, so it under similar loads, my car provides a little more feedback; as such, it feels like the car is straining.
