well doesn't the ECU need time to adjust with the plenum? as well as other mods? I say get that ECU reflashed when you are done with modding, and dyno'd it up, maybe with a tune as well?

That's low for a dynojet. But unless you have a stock (or previous) baseline dyno from the exact same dyno, those numbers are completely meaningless.

I know, I know. Unfortunately I never got a baseline stock dyno. I'm resetting the ECU now.

I have the battery unplugged and stepped on the brake. This iswhat Tony at Motordyne just suggested. He said just unhook the Negative terminal and step on the brakes and that's enough to reset the ECU.

3rd and 4th. Both were identicle.

Is there any merit to the idea that the MREV2 needed to get broken in or rather that the car needed to "learn" a little?

The MREV2 was installed and the car was moved literally 10 ft over the the dyno bay. Maybe I should have done the dyno a few days later? I dunno.

i had the same disappointment from my dyno also...try getting a exhaust next, it might free up the "rear" a little bit. i was dynoing a mere 228whp on a dyno dynamics with 1/2" spacer, mrev2, z-tube/k&n filter. when i got my exhaust and hfc's, i jumped up to about 252whp.

In cases like this it can be due to the ECU not being in performance mode.

I've seen people dyno like that at dyno days, get totally bummed out, reset the ECU, redyno at the end of the day and their final numbers come out just like everyone elses.

dynos are used to tune and measure gains, not cack size

without a baseline with the same dyno, the numbers the OP posted are meaningless

Getting to 300whp with just bolt ons is going to be very difficult. I don't think I have heard of or seen a G with just bolt ons hitting 300whp. Good luck.

^ +1 You have to rebuild the motor and add a bunch of parts. It's cheaper to just go FI.

Why did they only dyno in 3rd and 4th gears on a 6MT? 5th gear is 1:1 drive ratio.

Hey Tony, I was the one who called you yesterday. I'm not gonna worry about it. I reset the ECU like you suggested last night. Unplugged the Neg terminal stepped on the brakes and just left it unplugged for about an hour.

jeeez, thats alot of work. why didnt you just got to autozone and have them hook up the scan tool for free, and you have them clear the codes. yes, even if you dont have any codes in memory if will erase all the learned values and start all over fresh. the new values will take into consideration the new air flow rate with your new mods. i did a md 1/2 spacer 2 weeks ago and i took it out as soon as i installed it and it ran like pooo! did a ecu reset and within 20 miles or so i could really feel my new power!
