Flash Tuning?

Thanks for posting John. I'm not saying Colby copied Ecutek, but the fact that they had already defined all the table locations had to help - I mean the graphical interface is virtually identical. I use OpenECU exclusively for Suby and Mitsu BTW.
I am highly interested in seeing what happens with this effort, best of luck to you.

p.s. I am very interested in doing some Toyota programming stuff. If that interests you (and there is funding involved) drop me a PM or email (spchurch@earthlink.net)

update
Well after trying to get the communication protocol to work I have had to give up. I am going to email the maker of ECUflash and see what he thinks. I had incorrectly assumed that it might share some of the same basic traits as an STi to at least to get it to talk. Once I had a ROM I have a guy for disassembly, but I havent even been able to get a ROM yet.
Havent forgotten about it, just trying to work around some of the issues

The OPENEcu stuff, works really well, i have used it on my evo8 great unit, good stuff overall. its a shame that G35/350z doesnt have the same dedication to motors/programming like the Evo community does. i mean you have guys running 600+ and sub 11 sec 1/4 miles on the stock ECU, really cool stuff.

Glad to see its not dead, what hurdles have been cleared and what remains?
Is this project's going to be a cheaper alternative to other similar type stuff (accessport, osiris etc) , or is the goal to release an open source program free for all?
I'm not a technical guru, but is there anything I/we can do to help?
