Help Car Starts But Will Not Accelerate

Hey Guys,
So, yesterday I started my car and the car starts. The car can drive forward and reverse. But when i accelerate to press on the gas. The car does not accelerate at all. Can you guys tell me what might be wrong with the car? The car only has 40k on it. It's a 2003 and its my daily driver. Any feedbacks would help.
Thank you in advance.

Is your check engine light on? Sounds like the throttle body quit on ya.

Sorry, When I turn on the car. The car turns on with no problem but when I try to accelerate on the car. The car does not accelerate at all. I don't know how else to describe it. Since, I am not a mechanic.

when u start ur carn turn off vdc... if it runs fine, then something is leading ur computer to think ur tires are constantly slipping not letting u accelerate

1. did you change tires or tire sizes lately/ check tire pressure etc
2. broken diff?
3. bad comp

all i could think of

Take it to a mechanic or dealership to have it checked out.

Hey guys, had my mechanic friend look at it. He got it to work after resetting the computer. He said, that it definitely is the Trottle Body. He said, that these are common for the 2003 Coupe or Sedan that's why they have so much in stock at the dealer ship. So, have to schedule a appointment to get it replace. I really appreciate all of the feedbacks. That's why I love these forum so much. Thanks Again Guys...

Yeah that definately sounded like a MAF or Throttle body issue.

to be clear, MAF issue and TB issue are completely different.
drive by wire TB, if the throttle position sensor is malfunction, it won't send proper signal to the TB servo to open up the butterfly

If MAF is malfunction, first it might not idle properly; if it does, it still won't allow the engine to rev pass 2300rpm.

Yeah, I had this problem, turned out to be the Throttle Position Sensor.
