New Before-&-After numbers

I headed down to Shawn Church's dyno today for the first time since my stock baseline dyno back in March of 2007.

My only modifications to my 06 Coupe 6MT (revup) since the baseline dyno back in March 07 is an exhaust (Fast Intentions), Test Pipes (Fast Intentions), and the 5/16 spacer (Motordyne).

I'm pretty happy with the results. The gains are nice for only 3 modifications. And the engine is definately running strong compared to the other VQ's that have dyno'd on the same exact dyno.

Here is my stock baseline dyno of March 2007:

Now here's today's dyno. Mods included are stated above:

And now here's the Before & After. Shawn still had my old dyno file in his database :

Comparing my dyno's to the other dyno's that have been conducted at the same dyno, im pretty happy with the numbers overall. Yes, we all know dynapacks read higher than other dynos. But that's not relevant here as im speaking about other VQ's that have dyno'd on Shawn's dynapack.

Next up: MREV2 & the UpRev Osiris tune

.

And for the hell of it... here's my brother's stock 2008 Mustang GT baseline dyno (same day):

great numbers Henry. One thing i noticed ur A/F gets very aggressive and goes to a rich side after 4500rpm. That is one of the reasons that u are making that much power without a ECU mod. It looks like ur ECU has tweaked itself with ur mods. All the VQ I have seen without any ECU mod have an A/F of 13 at around redline and much run leaner before that.

Why is it measuring flywheel power and torque?

The revup has a slightly different ECU. You're probably right about the ECU adjusting a little better to modifications on the revup against a non-revup.

It's not flywheel... its off the hubs. Every dynapack states "Flywheel", which is definately not flywheel power.

good #'s Henry. I plan to dyno my MD exhaust with test pipes next week since I'm N/A again (long story).

Hopefully I will be close to 300 N/A I have osiris.

My mods will be
k&n drop in filter
5/16 spacer
UR pulley
Labree resonated test pipes
MD exhaust
osiris tune

My car N/A on Shawn's dyno pulled 276hp and 260tq 2yrs ago with

3/8 spacer
kinetix plenum
kinetix HFC
Borla exhaust
z tube
stillen intake
TS reflash

I'll try and find the dyno sheet and post it up.

What would that be equal to on say a dynojet? So you are putting down 280rwhp and 260wtq on this dyno, correct?

Those are some nice numbers then, I have what you have plus intake and headers and we have the same power.

Competition is always a good thing

I'm a bit anxious & impatient about getting the MREV2 & Osiris tune. Little things like dyno's get me motivated again.

Numbers seem kind of high, but still looks good.
