i think that if you put only headers on, then i think i saw someone losing low end power? or was it top end power? but when he put on an aftermarket dual cat-back to go with the heads, he gained it all back and then some

To the OP, what kind of dyno was this on? 15% loss is kinda unbelievable no matter what car it is.
Not to mention a different motor... OP has a Z with the HR motor.

Do u have any baseline numbers on THIS dyno?
BTW if this dyno really reads like dynojet then ur car is an easy mid 12 second car.

And it's already been done with less modifications than this OP

07+ 350z (HR) does mid 13.5 bone stock at over 104 mph. This is with 260whp and weighing ~3200lb.
I know for a fact that ~20whp shaved 0.4 seconds off of MY 1/4 mile time. This guy is making ~50 whp more than stock! U don't think mid 12s can be done while keeping the weight down to 3200 lb?
Keep in mind all these turbo/supercharged guys are adding hp but at the same time adding weight to their cars. In this car that is not the case.
According to his dyno sheets and claims his car's power to weight ratio is very similar to E92 M3 which can easily do mid 12 1/4 mile.

Great numbers... i got dynoed when i went up to Technosquare and they tell you what stock numbers the same model car as you pulled there. they told me stock 03-04 G35 5AT sedans pulled 210ish HP&TQ(DJ correction), so they read pretty fairly. also to the other posters... yeah, the 06+ Z's are heavier than 03-04 sedans. def more than 3200lbs.

Like has already been posted, Gooey is already in the twelves on DR's. Two HR z's, bone stock down to the tire, have run 13.1's.
This guy's making loads more power(for NA that is). With good tires, and a clutch that holds up, he could run mid to upper twelves.
The only problem I have his plots is the fact that I've never seen that type of dyno before, and that the numbers have been "dynojet" adjusted. That just doesn't work. I'd love for the OP to take a few pulls on a dynojet, just to normalize the numbers.
And JTrain, I smell cheaper/lighterweight/6MT envy. It's not like any body ever claimed he'd run 10's.
