IMO, the real test is to see what this car does at a good track like Sacramento. I would say it is very likely this car will run like most any other NA modded HR 350Z, 13.1-13.3@103-105mph. I would venture to say that this car would put down more like 270-275whp on a Dynojet. For whatever reason, NO ONE in LA seems to use Dynojets
There are certainly HR 350Zs running 12.9-13.1s with next to nothing in mods, but one needs to look at the tires and tranny. If you take a stock HR 350Z 6MT with 26" slicks and launch it at 6000rpms, it going to yank a mid 1.7 to low 1.8 60'. That's a given. If the halfshaft doesn't snap, the car is going to run a 12.9-13.0 on a decent track and maybe even a 12.8 on a quick track. Most of the HR 350Zs running stellar times have drag tires, are 6MTs, and they're run at quick tracks. They're certainly not the "norm".
As for weight of the HR 350Z. IT DOES NOT weigh significantly more than the DE-equipped cars. Everyone seems to have this idea that the 350Z and G35s gained weight as the years progressed. The truth is you can't really go by the quoted Nissan numbers. HR 350Z owners have weighed their cars and they're in the 3180-3250lb range.

right now i don't have teh moeny and I cuoldnt' find a dynojet to dyno on. You guys can compare it to dynos at techonsquare to see how much power this really produces. The next guy closest to me I think has 302WHP and he also dynoed at Technosquare. My next mod is going to be nitrous, most liekly a 75 shot to be around 400WHP. Any tips on the nitous in turns of safty of the engine? Recommendations?

kinda what i was bout to say... from just hi flos and a tune u should be above 275hp anyways, then headers and everything else... take it to the track and make vids....
all u doubters, he could have a freak from the factory... i never believed it til my 98 accordv6 with 331hp was caught by my girls stock 02 v6 accord sedan.(same motors).. even honda acknowledge they had a few freak motors out there that made a little more hp and were faster for whatever reason.... have any of those guys that ran 12s stock had a dyno done?

very consistently, the HR's put down 235-240whp bone stock on our dyno (Dyno Dynamics). The VQ37HR bone stock 250whp. No way you are getting more than 20-25whp from tuning, and that is being generous.
300'anything is so far off the charts, its not realistic.
