Just to let you guys know I have an auto (which makes these numbers more impressive) so I don't have that advantage when launching the car even though i have good tires(295/30/19 PS2 wrapped around volks). I do however have a GTM valvebody upgrade which i'm sure shifts just as fast as nto faster as anyone manueling can do it. And as for weight goes, my car weighs 3400. However I have removed my spare tire and my full exhaust system is at least 40 lbs lighter than stock. So maybe like total 3330 lbs or something like that. I did not take a stock dyno but as someone else noted is taht technosquare's dyno is very acurate when compared to a dynojet. I will however be doing a dynojet run pretty soon just for my curiosity as well as a 100 octane run. And the headers made a huge diffenrece across teh whole powerband and i had a before and after dyno taken and i have posted it in this site under intake and exhaust.

Sorry i didn't quote everyone, i was really lazy and just needed to get this post out of the way cause i am very busy today.

Good numbers OP, especially for an auto. And I've driven in a car with an upgraded valvebody; I was very impressed with the shifting speed.

You definitely need to find a track that doesn't suck though. I know in the g/z world the 5AT's don't get any love at the drag strip, but you 5AT guys should be able to launch as hard as us 6MT guys. I know a local owner of an 03 5AT 350z, and he could cut low 1.90's on street tires.

wow, impressive #.
There are few built NA "DE" engine that barely break 300rwhp mark... and you've done it with just a full bolt on tuned HR engine?
damn...

We can't go into that assumption just yet. They are two completely different dynos.

Some of those built na DE engines have broken 300 RWHP on a dyno dynamics with a beefier powerband.

Those numbers are very impressive nonetheless. Makes me wonder why some of the G35 Sedan guys & G37 owners haven't gone full bolt ons + tune

Because headers are a !%)(#&*$!(@&#@ to put on

I know everyone is skeptical of the dyno, but Tadashi isn't known for fake dyno pulls.

Congrats to the OP. That is certainly a nice set of mods and a great result.

There is nothing "fake" about the numbers, but the everyone seems to be forgetting that every dyno reads differently. Also, this isn't the first time I've seen crazy high numbers from TS dyno.

IMO, the real test is to see what this car does at a good track like Sacramento. I would say it is very likely this car will run like most any other NA modded HR 350Z, 13.1-13.3@103-105mph. I would venture to say that this car would put down more like 270-275whp on a Dynojet. For whatever reason, NO ONE in LA seems to use Dynojets

There are certainly HR 350Zs running 12.9-13.1s with next to nothing in mods, but one needs to look at the tires and tranny. If you take a stock HR 350Z 6MT with 26" slicks and launch it at 6000rpms, it going to yank a mid 1.7 to low 1.8 60'. That's a given. If the halfshaft doesn't snap, the car is going to run a 12.9-13.0 on a decent track and maybe even a 12.8 on a quick track. Most of the HR 350Zs running stellar times have drag tires, are 6MTs, and they're run at quick tracks. They're certainly not the "norm".

As for weight of the HR 350Z. IT DOES NOT weigh significantly more than the DE-equipped cars. Everyone seems to have this idea that the 350Z and G35s gained weight as the years progressed. The truth is you can't really go by the quoted Nissan numbers. HR 350Z owners have weighed their cars and they're in the 3180-3250lb range.

Most HR's are already running 265-270 rwhp on a typical dynojet. I would surely believe that A.H's 350Z is doing atleast 285 rwhp on a dynojet.

We are using the Nissan stated numbers as the reference point. Whether it reads 3400 lbs or 3100 lbs, im pretty sure the same would apply for the G35's unless Nissan is using a different method for weighing them (which I highly doubt).

I've seen a few threads about 05-06 G35 Coupe's weighing in at ~3375 lbs. Just like a dyno, what matters to us atleast in this specific case is the difference beween the Z & G in weight... not the just the initial numbers.

Your implying that the V35 G's & Z33 Z's haven't gained weight as the years progressed... Got any proof of that?

.

I gotta say it's a good bit more than that. He picked up ~20rwhp from a tune, which IMO is pretty believable. I didn't pick up that much, but my car isn't an HR, and I was tuned with a utec. I *assume* that technosquare can get a little more out of it than the utec for the DE. Also, I don't know if you remember, but Cheryl's car bone stock ran pig stinking rich. I would post a link to the dyno plots, but its late, and g35driver has decided that it doesn't want to accept any more requests. I just hope it doesn't lose this reply.
