honestly..... Whats the real point of arguing over dyno numbers? A few strikes of the key board and your getting different numbers. IMHO if he says his car puts down 318whp........ Take it to the track and run it. If he runs 12.6-12.8 or even better. And traps 112 + then you know its a fast car. Traps dont lie..... dynos do!

25whp from a reflash is doubtful........

When tuning and performance shops make our livelyhood by tuning cars, and putting out good numbers, it's understandable that we want to make sure posted numbers are within the realm of possibility...that's all.

oh i completely understand that shops needs to show there tuning ability to make a living. Its understandable. Im just saying that if theres controversy about numbers the track doesnt lie.

I'm giong to a track in a month when I don't have to worrry about school but i'm shooting for liek 12.9 or 13.0. ANd i never said i got 25whp from the refalsh. I got 19 whp from it the second time I got the refalsh and with my older mods I got 17 whp from it.

As far as I know it has never been run at the track or verified on any other dyno. Personally, I have seen his posts over on my350 and find his numbers outrageous. Particularly for an automatic. Like stated above that thing had better be trapping 110-113 or I don't believe them for a second.

I will say it again

1/4 mile is a much better test of vehicle performance.

+1....dyno racing is lame. Trap speed is the real indicator of applicable power.

i dynoed 268 on a dyno jet with an 03 with full bolt on and tune... i would bet a good amount on money with his mods on a dyno jet he still puts down 300+ ...

id paypal him 10 bucks to go dyno ona dyno jet... get a few guys to do it and he can have a free dyno...

theres a guy by my in NY that put down 305whp on a mustang dyno with just a single exhaust and test pipes..

Performance MotorSports in Smithtown, NY works on his car and he is always in there, they were getting uprev and were going to test it on his car so by now he should have it tuned and im sure they pulled power out of it so it should me 310ish on a mustang dyno..

HRs make me jelous

I can put a crazy correction in and say I broke 300.......doesn't mean it truly represents the power being made. You have a link to this car? I have seen a couple of people on my350 that dynoed there and I think they put a correction in to try and closely represent numbers on a dynojet. A.H has had almost a year to put his car on a dynojet or run at the track and either hasn't or didn't get the results he wanted. There is a big thread on my350 about his car (like here) and many are skeptical. Keep in mind his car is an Auto.

My car produced 240whp prior to uprev tune...i have fast intentions intimidator exhaust with HFC, mrev 5/16th spacer, K&N typhoon short ram intake... after tune.. i was at 260whp.. Good gains for those amount of mods? what is average for those amount of mods? 260whp = about 319 bhp? eh... i have 07 coupe 6mt. dyno dynamics btw..
next is strupp headers.. i have em.. just have to install them... i heard around 20hp gain midrange??? True or false??

WOW! Nice Number dude! Now I got my 07 G35 Sedan Dynoed yesterday. it put down 280HP at the wheel. This is with the VQ35 HR Motor, same as yours. IS this a good Number? or should I be putting out more? Same motor and Comp as your 350Z HR? Car was tuned with the Cobb AP.

My Mods are, Injen CAI, FI HFC's, and Stillen Cat Back. Should my car be making more than 280HP at the wheels? Seems like the My Sedan does not make the HP's like the 350's? Maybe the ECU is not as Mod Friendly as the 350's and G37's? LMK what you think.

Car feals like a beast, like never before. So I know the tune Helped alot!

Not sure on my Baseline Numbers here. Gotta ask my tuner, but I reflashed the car with the Cobb "Stock Style map" before the Dyno. so not sure it shows the full gains I got, sure it's more than just 4HP, unless that Cobb map was pretty good already, and i only gained 4HP from that map.?? my A/F ratios are all in optimum range. hope he has more sheets showing TQ and A/F.
