Dynoing my second time tomorrow
Hey all.
I dynoed my car last spring, cooler day, dirty JWT pop charger filter, and needed an oil change. Made 217whp.
Going again tomorrow, with a clean JWT pop charger filter, stillen intake tube, HKS exhaust, and coupe middy. Car needs an oil change to.
Any ideas how much it will improve? Im hoping mid 220 range.
Anyone dyno theirs before?
Btw my car is a 05 sedan 5at RWD.

Dynos are so inaccurate...........the hotter the oil, ATF, diff, tires, roller the lower the friction losses will be.
Ever notice that many cars get better and better in subsequent runs until the coolant exceeds 200F then they start dropping. Ever notice the clutch surface temperature comes into play.
Accuracy requires data logging every variable and only comparing like temperature runs. Even a 3 psi tire difference will change the numbers.

^^^ everyone loves dyno racing on these forums...
I'm still perplexed by the number of people that compare dyno numbers
And more baffling are people that compare their own dynos to ones they did way in the future.
Wannabe… if your car made gains from the mods, you would absolutely feel it while driving… and don’t listen to the nay-sayers that pull the placebo BS – if you know your car you know if it is performing better, worse or the same.
As for comparing dyno HP and Trq, the only thing that is relevant is how your car does compared to others that day (assuming it’s a dyno day type of thing like your last one).
