Do they give you instructions over the phone or something when you get your osiris?

If you don't have a tuner in your area then you can do the Osiris/Cipher package for $700 (go to www.uprev.com to make sure the price is correct). With this you will get two CD's and a data cable mailed to you. You simply download the software to your laptop and follow the directions for reflashing your car. All user instructions for Cipher and Osiris are on the CD, including how to switch maps. It's almost dummy proof. The guys at Uprev really made a great, convenient product for us.

you only meet your tuner for a custom tune with osiris

I guess you forgot what Shawn told you about loading the maps. Did he do the uprev tuned throttle control on your car?

If your not sure ask him about it.

I was the same way the 1st time after getting tuned I wasn't holding the accel/decel long enough before I started hitting cancel.

sorry I just read your other thread CAT didn't tune your car.

Nice gains anyway I plan on having mine retuned soon since I'm running on 93oct now.

ask hb if they tuned your throttle control.

You know what, hb told me that they did open up the throttle. it use to open at 80% and now it opens all the way. is that what tuning the throttle is?

its additional to that... tell him you want the ETC update - it can be found on UpRevs site, under "updates" I think?

Derek - do you know where to look on their site?

I never looked on their site I used my uprev tuner for my ETC.

4Dr if HB adjusted your throttle then they added the tuned ETC. Uprev describes it as the throttle opening 100% not 80% from a stop.

Mike any word from uprev about your tests you did at the track for the 5at?

not other than John confirmed ECU is cutting throttle (but I was convinced of that already)... I haven’t talked with him for a while... I've been thinking about calling to see if he's had a chance to overcome it. I'll let you know when I find out more.

Hopefuly since it's a ECU issue maybe they can solve our 5at problems at launch.

People ask me about it all the time and I just point at Jared. I don't have a Nissan to use it in (stupid car loans!) and I don't do the tuning, so I never use it. Sort of in one ear and out the other, plus Jared sits right behind me.

Hey John is going to be at GTM next week I think. He's not the most personable guy everm very much the typical computer geek, but once you get to know him he's pretty much a walking encyclopedia and a good source for technical knowledge on the ECU side.

I'm sure he'd like to sit down and figure out the throttle thing while he's there. Hit me up rich@uprev.com and I'll see if I can set something up. I know Sam will be interested too cause he's nosey and needs to know lots of stuff, thats what makes him such a reliable source of knowledge on these cars.
