Do the yellow and green HP and torque #'s represent before and after the tune? Pardon my ignorance. I'm considering an Osiris tune and wondered how much they charged you for dyno time? I was quoted $175 an hour, with 2 hours to install and tweak the tune.

Awesome increases, worth the money in my opinion.

Thumbs up

OMFG! Holly Sh*t!
I need to go back to Tim and get a full dyno tune!
I went to Xact a few weeks ago and just got the base Osiris re-flash and was planning on going back middle of May to get a full custom tune. I can’t wait now!

So, how does the car feel after the tune?

Is that from just a tune itself?

If so, im pretty skeptical of the gains past 4.5k RPM's. I have never seen anyone gain that much high-end power from just an NA tune on stock internals.

I agree. I barely gained any peak power when I was dyno tuned...maybe a few hp. I gained quite a bit through out the rest of the power band though.

Here’s another dyno from Xact dyno, this time it’s a 2006 350Z with similar bolt-on modifications. http://teamsrd.com//images/stories/A...in%20power.jpg

The solid was the before, the dotted was the after. The dyno time was $300

Before it was quite sluggish on passing, sometimes when I hit the gas really hard it felt like a transmission slip or something. Now it has quite a bit of pep, none of that slipping feeling. It seems like it picks up faster at higher speeds, what I mean by that is that it seems to get up faster when I am passing a car at 80 compared to passing a car from about 40.

So, is your G an auto or 6-speed?

With that kind of gains I would hope you have a second tune with some timing pulled out for the summer.

I'm going to have the Osiris tune done to my car in a month or so. The basic tune is $400 and I've been told to expect 2 hours on the dyne at $175/hr.

Lot of money, but for what you get it's worth it to me.
