Tuned at Uprev this morning 2006 5AT coupe

Drove up to uprev in austin to get Osiris and dyno tune. Wasn't the gains I was expecting but they're gains. I was running really lean before this so Jared fixed everything to make it run right but we still didn't get the power that was expected, only +6 hp. At least it's not running super lean any more. I've been driving like this with all the mods for almost a year, so that's almost a year running super lean (can't be good) Overall, still happy I made the trip.

Mods:

Impul Exhaust with mid pipe
Motordyne XYZ pipe with resonator
MD 5/16 Spacer
Z-tube/ KN filter
FI 300 cell Cats

Dyno sheet:

Revup or non-revup?

I gained great results from the Osiris tune on a revup with the following mods: 5/16 spacer, MREV2, test pipes, exhaust, stillen intake.

Your gains aren't bad (but not great). You did gain power all around, so that's good to see.

Whoops, missed that

Did you bother getting a high octane tune for a separate map?

243 stock can be 220 on another one.

Dyno's are not meant to be compared with one another unless they are of the same exact machine.

Since when is 14:1 lean? stoich is 14.7:1. I believe my coupe, will spike up to 17:1.

Stoich is fine at idle and partial throttle, but not at WOT. If you are hitting 17 and the reading is accurate, you are headed for failure.

OP- If you were running lean over a decent period of time, I would seriously consider checking/replacing the plugs.

I don't think you can even have a combustion at 17:1.

Wave your engine goodbye.

Ideally a VQ at wide open throttle should be around 13.0 and get a little richer up high RPM's [6k-7k].

Anything in the 14's and above is running lean. I can assure you you are not at 17.1 during WOT. That is a definite quick death sentence for the VQ.

Just +6 HP?

While that is certainly not a loss and definitely a gain...

Peak of 6 and looks like up to a max gain of ~10. Not bad.
