Toggling Maps for Osirus?

ok so i am really considering gettin Osirus tune over Cobb. I already have all the basic bolt-ons on my 05 6mt (other than MREV2 which im still on fence with). My main concern with Osirus is; are cruise control buttons the only way to toggle between the maps set? I ask because my cruise control button is broken, and i'm not really sure how to fix it. I dont want to be stuck with one map because i cant change the damn thing. This was one of the reason i was considering either Cobb or Bullydog in the begining because of their handheld units. Can you change them with laptop plugged into OBDII yourself? Is there any other way to change them using Osirus?

Q: What about those of us who don't have cruise control? Is there any other way to get multiple maps?

A: We do not offer anything at this time. If you want to build your own Cruise control interface, we can help you with wiring information.

Doesnt look like it. Best bet is to get your cruise control fixed first.

neither cobb or that bullycrap can change maps on the fly anyways. You have to do a complete reflash with them for a new map. waste of time

If you have access to a cipher cable you should able to do it.

you can only reflash if you have osiris software enabled or tuner software enabled. it also has to have the license for your car. You can't use someone else's cable to flash a tune onto your car and you can't use a standard cipher to do it either.

See I know all this...when it comes time for me to do Osiris tune, I'm going to do everything legit, with license and all...I jus wanted to know that after you have everything installed, is there a way to toggle thru maps WITHOUT using the steering wheels cruise control switch.

You can load other maps via live tuning in rom editor. You would just have to have each map saved as an RTT file. Pain in the ***... if I were you just fix the dang cruize lol.
