Am I running dangerously lean or rich?
Am I running dangerously lean or rich?
Sorry for the Noob question, but I am sure that there will be some good info posted up. And hopefully someone with similar mods can chime in with personal experience.
My current performance mods are:
MD 5/16" plenum spacer
Stillen Z-Tube/intake
MD Art Pipes
M2P MCR(X02) exhaust
I have read that the intake mods cause you to run lean and the exhaust mods cause you to run rich.
Does that mean that I am in an acceptable AFR range?
I plan to get the UpRev Osiris tune in a couple of weeks, but if I am risking my engine I will get this done ASAP.

You are fine. If anything the ECU will compensate and take power away instead of blowing up the engine if you are lean. However, with your mods you aren't going to be terrible.
Just get a tune whenever is good for you and enjoy the extra power from getting it done right.

That's good to hear, thanks for the reply.
I'm not sure if I really wanted an excuse to hold out a couple weeks to save my wallet the stress, or if I really wanted an excuse to get a tune now and enjoy the extra power!
