5AT G w/ Turbonetics, installed and tuned by CIN

This is a 5AT we recently finished with a Turbonetics kit. Everything else is stock on the vehicle, inluding the midpipe and muffler.
She made 344hp and 394tq with a conservative tune.

The owner already called and asked if we can "detune" it! He says tires are expensive!!!

That is one of the reasons he want's us to put a smaller wastegate spring in. When the car shifts and the rpms drop back to where the engine is making over 390lbs of torque, the tires let loose and his car is not set up to put that much power to the ground.
Remember that in an automatic car, you don't loose near the boost pressure between shifts as in a manual, so the power is always there.

I was thinking of doing this same set up on my car. Would you recommend this on a daily driver? I didn’t want to set any hp records just wanted a more responsive car that I could still drive daily. I’ve got an 03 slushbox

The Turbonetics kit is decent for the money, but for almost the same amount, you could do a Momentum Performance or STS kit.
