New Haltech Platinum ECU vs Old Platinum

Haltech recently released the new Haltech Platinum wPro hich is a complete replacement for the stock ECU while the old model needed to have it in the car to work. Can anyone comment on it? Aside from taking the computer out, it must have all the same functions and options aside from a couple extra features. I am about to install the old model, but is it really worth the 2600.00? Does it make my car run that much better? Any input would be great. Thank you.

IMO, the cheaper one is MORE than good enough. not worth the extra $1000 just to remove the stock ECU.
