Datalogged 05 sedan
Datalogged 05 sedan
I datalogged my car using the torque app for Android and I have a question about the timing at WOT. The coolant temp was between 200-205 and when I went WOT my timing was at 16 degrees. Is that normal for an 05 Sedan auto? Could it be heat soak? Car is basically stock, mods in sig.
Timing degrees is a position not temperature, it also changes per rpm range, which BT OB2 adapter do you have? If its the cheap one it data logs slowly.

^ Timing changes based many factors one of which is RPM, the ECU has a Map it follows but can alter it based on these factors.
Timing of 16 degrees at WOT does not tell us anything, again the OBD II adapter if its the cheap version does not log fast enough and or its not receiving proper info. Its slower then 1hz at times based on how much is being logged at the time.
