Is this true?

Quote from a shop. I'm in Nevada the shop is in Cali. No tuners here.
As far as elevation is concerned, Uprev reflashes the ecu but retains all of the barometric compensation tables in the factory ecu. As such, there is no difference between tuning it at sea level or Denver, Colorado..

Oh boy please tell me you're not sending your car to GTM...

anyways, the beauty of tuning with the stock ECU and MAF is that it will compensate for a lot of those variables on its own, but something as drastic as socal to denver would be worth checking up on. That's a huge difference...

We have two that can can answer your questions, Church and Sebastian at SpecialtyZ. Try Sebastian @ 818-703-6272 if he's not too busy he'd be glad to answer your questions and even set up a tune for you which you can plug and play....Gary

Cool, thanks guys. I called the church shop and they gave me a number. I guess one of their guys comes down to vegas twice a month and tunes cars at a certain shop.
