This one right here, can we use this on a g or a z if you pay for another VIN or not? I know there are some you can do this with.

Pretty much how it goes is you buy a cable and a license. You use compatible software to tune your car via ROM flashes.

Think of the flash as a semi-permanent tune. You put it on by taking the license off the cable, and you take it off by removing the license from the car.

So:
Yes you can run it on multiple cars.
You CANNOT run it on more than 1 at a time. If you have 2 licenses you can use the same program on 2 cars.

yeah exactly, so you can purchase another for another car correct? so if me and a friend split this and +1 license we've effectively got our moneys worth

Well what do you know about dynamic vehicle tuning?

If you don't know, you need an E-tune from someone who tunes like Seymore4 (Joe?) who specializes in Osiris and is a member here.

You can and should buy the tune used, as it is literally the same thing as a new one. The cost difference on a tuner edition is 200$. An extra license is around 300$.

my friend has used osiris before and just got a z, he knows how to use it as he's done it to multiple cars including his old s13 vq35de swap.

+1 what Urban said. The ability to tune is linked to the cable, not the license. You can tune as many cars as you want as long as you have an Osiris license for each one. The tuner version comes with one license, so you'd just need to reload it with another one and you'd be good to go. There are a lot of smaller shops that actually tune customer cars with just the basic tuner version, just buying one license at a time from a licensed pro tuner.

OP I'll send you a PM, I can help you out and save you some money
