03 5at de vortech dyno results

Had my car tuned via mac auto sports in parker, colorado. Not sure what to think of the tune so I need second opinions

03 coupe 5at
Car made:
356 WHP
303 TQ

3.12 Pulley
osiris Tuned
art pipes
Authentic hks hi power exhaust
Motor dyne 5/16 plenum spacer

Was hoping to get at least 370. Idk just feels like there is more left. Are these typical numbers for a 3.12 pulley ?

Well, every dyno is different as I understand, but I just looked up Parker, CO and it says elevation 5900'? That's crazy.

Anyhow, your elevation is gonna have something to do with being that the oxygen is thinner. Much less so than N/A, but still

What are you comparing it to?

Elevation does play a big role. If you want to make the drive, I will be setting up another Dyno day in SoCal after my friend finished building his car. I am sure you will be in the 400s

That's over 1000 miles just to hit a dyno...

I understand elevation plays a role, however if it's SAE 1.23 corrected wouldn't that mean the elevation is accounted for?

You lose no boost, BUT, you lose "absolute" pressure. At 6000 feet there is 7+- psi LESS than at sea level. So, if you have 6 psi of boost, at sea level that's 6+14.7+ 20.7 absolute of boost. At 6000 feet you have 7.251886886510461 psi (approximately) of atmospheric pressure add 6 psi of boost and you get 11.25 psi of absolute boost, so you can see you lose A LOT of hp at that altitude.

I see, so in essence if I were to get a dyno at sea level I should be seeing numbers in the 370+ range ? Does that affect torque numbers directly also ?

Yes.

Atmospheric pressure, Temp (biggie), humidity ALL affect results to some extent. Not near as much on NA cars, but FI, it makes a very noticeable difference.

I just have difficulty understanding what sae correction would mean. In parker colorado they use 1.23 correction, would that correction dyno be my estimated power at sea level? Or does it not take atmospheric pressure into account.

That's a +23% correction factor, I would think that it would correct for elevation.
