Disappointed... bolt ons w/ osiris tuner. NEED ADVISE
I haven't put the car on a dyno in the 5 years I've owned it (no local dynos within a 3 hour radius). i know the car very well and noticed slight increases with the listed mods.
Motordyne 5/16 plenum spacer
JWT Pop Charger intake
Z tube
264 Tomei Camshafts
Tomei Expreme V2 headers
Megan Test pipes (non resinated)
Flow master muffler
after just installing headers on 5/4/2016, i roll raced a 2006 enthusiast edition 350Z that is COMPLETELY stock. no bolt ons whatsoever. 3rd gear pull from 3k rpm we hit it exactly at the same time and lost by 4 ft. (my bumper was on his door). i then flashed the ecu with a ROM sent to me from a pro tuner that was made identical to the same ROM a dyno tuned G35 with very similar mods (cams & headers). knowing its not going to be perfect since the ROM was not made for the purpose of my G, i roll raced the stock 350Z again. 3rd gear, 3k rpm just like the last run. this time were bumper to bumper, & every pull we did he never pulled an inch on me. WTF!!!!!!!!!!! :beat horse:
so far the biggest waste of money if i can't even inch away from a stock Z
sooooo whats next??? what would you do? (bon fire last resort)

Lighter wheels make a noticeable difference when accelerating. There was a Sport Compact Car test many years ago, they were trying to get a CRX to go 150 mph. With an engine only putting (at the time) about 130 hp to the wheels, it picked up 5-8 hp though the power band just by switching to lighter wheels.

exactly what I was going to say. the Z has a different rear diff ratio and like someone said, about 400 less lbs.
the G was a luxo-sportish car , therefore the rear diff ratio is less snappy and more gradual than the Z. the power is there, but the time to get to it is longer and more relaxed.
my next major mod will be 4.08 ring and pinion for this reason.

LOL! wow! You can have all the bolt ons (n/a) on your G. The fact is your G is a fat lady going against a skinny lady (z). You have to shave off weight if you want to beat the Z. You should tune the car so all your mods work together. you can shave off weight by getting bucket seats in the front.
