04 5at g35 dyno tune w/ full bolt ons, C8 cams
I got my 5at 04 G35 tuned by Nikk at Soho Motorsports.
The dyno results
289whp
272lbft
Mod list:
JWT C8 CAMSHAFTS
PPE LONG TUBE HEADERS
XYZ PIPE
CIRCUIT WERKS DUAL EXHAUST
PORTED LOWER PLENUM RUNNERS
MREV2
SHIFT TECH PERFORMANCE UPPER PLENUM
NWP 75MM THROTTLE BODY
FUROOKIE 3.5" INTAKE
MD 1/2" PLENUM SPACER
OEM REV UP OIL PUMP
GTR 550CC INJECTORS
1PIECE ALUMINUM DRIVE SHAFT
The greenline is with the 1/2" spacer, ported lower plenum runners and shift Tech performance plenum. The red line is when I had a 5/16" plenum spacer and stock lower and upper plenum.
Here's a picture of the shift Tech performance plenum. (excuse my dirty engine bay)
The inside of the plenum it's completely polished and the support columns have been removed. The plenum neck being bored out to 75 mm all the way through.

Yes, for more power it would have been more cost effective. All of these modifications have been done over the length of time that I've had the car not all at once. I bought it in 2008 and started modifying the car little by little. I had the cams put on because I had to get the timing chain and valve covers replaced. So might as well do the cams while they were in there. Plus I always wanted a cammed NA car. I might put on a single turbo kit, I know the c8's will help it make more power if I go that route.
