each state could organize a meet though thats hard enough and if thats possible then the state groups could ride to the mega meet. when i was on clubrsx.com they had yearly state meets here and they worked very well over 100 ppl came thats at least something i know theres plenty of people in texas that would like to meet

I agree, we could potentially make a computer program which would take all the major cities in this forum and see where the overall least distance would it be for everyone to travel to, and the major city corresponding to that general location. Regardless though, we need a city that we can actually do stuff in also. I think the donation thing is a good idea also, it will give a better idea of who will actually come, and who is just saying that they will come. If you put some money down, then you will make time to come out, instead of just saying you will for the hell of it.....

I like the Idea of Nashville and the Nissan HQ. If nothing else, maybe someone from the Nashville area could approach them personally.

Besides, the Ohio G Clubs will show up in force no doubt. Especially if its in Late July/ early August. I am Hosting a Club meet for my wedding and My soon to be wife (the hottie red head in my avatar) wants to go to a HIN, Import Alliance, or a huge car meet for our Honeymoon. Dont hate. hehehe...so a huge G meet in Nashville would be awesome!!!

But I am sure if we get all the local clubs presidents together to send emails out to their local members and then report back findings for meet locations, dates and wishes. I am sure we can get this together.

Not to mention, having the moderators help in this matter would be awesome.

or even do like the gumball rally without the time limit... having a route for people NE, SE, NW, SW all driving towards the center of the US, getting more and more people to join in as we go, and posting the meet locations on the way for each of the four routes, so people know where the convoy will meet, leave, etc.

I posted on the poll the latest info. I spoke with the event organizer from Zcon, the big nissan Z convention in Nashville, KY in August. They invited us to bring our G35 National meet there if we wish. The G35 is welcome, but not recognized as of yet as part of the Z family to the convention. There was a email vote on the issue that would bring the G35 into the Z family through national recongnition. Results are to be release soon and I will keep you updated.
There is plenty of people interested.
We can create a east/west coast meet this year, and work for a national all in one meet next year as another idea.

Im not sure if we have someone officially taking over this, but for this concept of having sub convoys, we could all pm on person the major city we are closest too, then they could map all our locations and from there pick 5 or 6 points around the US that will be main meeting points, and then pick sub-locations theses convoys will travel through on there way to wherever this massive meet will take place.
Then it would be easier for someone to look and say for example, "Ill be taking route 2 so i need to be in Dallas for my routes meet at this time and date" or they can say, "route 2 will pass through _______, ill meet up with them there." And you then have the option to create sub threads for people that are going to be on the same routes to talk about what are good meeting places. You would have a thread for route 1, route 2, route 3, etc. Just an idea.

Well, I'm sure if we end up having the eastern meet in Nashville, most of FL and GA will end up coming up 75. Atlanta would be a major hub. Another could be Orlando, Tampa or Gainesville. I would just need to know about what time the I-75 convoy would be passing I-10 and catch up to them there. That shouldn't be hard to do.

For what its worth, The NGC and SFL G clubs presidents are in for an eastern meet this year if a national one doesnt take off (as well as the Ohio G Club). I did mention something about the sub convoy/driving routes along the way to the meeting locations as well. Its in too many forums now, I think I counted 4.
