Wouldn't it be funny if we could get a really big group and all roll in together. Just to see all the Z guys have that look of "WHAT???"

Except that there is now actually progress being made on an East Coast meet. Even if it is crashing another event, it's still better than nothing.

Have a Vegas meet then if you all dont like the giant Z shindig in Tennessee. Theres a reason they are having it there. Thats where all the Nissan execs hang out. Not in Vegas. I'll consider driving out for Vegas, but im already going to Florida in June, and Nashville in July.

Man its going to be a summer full of road trips.

Z events are always cool... lots of heritage with the Z and tons of die-hards go to events like this one - should be a good turn-out.

Our friends at Nissan Sport are one of the Gold Level sponsors

nah - would take too much time away form work and I'm not into the expense that it would take...

MSA (Motosport Auto, same as Zcarparts.com) has a big Z meet every year... its pretty close to me.

I recently joined up with the President of ZROC and we talked about joining our two clubs together for meets for larger turnouts. I believewe may roll out with them down there as two clubs, but yes, it would be awesome to come as one huge G35 parade...

This was my thinking. I am willing to do some leg work to get the east coast one rolling, but I believe it would be hardpressed to get more than me to drive out to vegas. Not many G owners have the entire summer off like I do to head out to car shows! hahahaa

ok, so here is the results of my email. remember I sent an email to the event organizer of Zcon and he responded within the hour. He is also the official inviter for Zdays and pushes for G35s to be accepted as part of the Z meets and conventions. We passed a few emails back and forth, and final word is that they are having a meeting today to discussed the tabled issue of making G35s part of the Zcon officially. So he said he would email me afterwords to let me know. I will keep you all posted.

That's great news!
Thanks for keeping us updated. Now here's hoping all goes well with their discussions.
I'm sure I speak for many in the G35 community in expressing a great fondness and respect for the Z cars and what they have done to make the Japanese automotive scene what it is today... Or for that matter, what they have done to make my Sedan sit lower and handle better
