So I emailed my Contact again, and he said the discussion for adding the G35 to the Z family for Zcon was a heated event. From what he described it was a long discussion which lead to the final vote to be emailed in. He obviously voted for us to be added, and the results will be released to me as soon as he knows. But as it stands for now...
We are invited to come.
We are also officially invited to Zdays where we are recognized.
I will keep you guys posted.

 

^At some point, we should probably have a poll something to the extent of:
What location for the first G35Driver Eastern Mega Meet? With options for the ZCon, whatever other events (zdays etc), or none of the above.
It might be a bit soon for that right now though, at least until you hear back from the ZCon board. But soon, we do need to have some way of deciding what event we want to settle on and call official and seek support of site staff.

 

LEK of the NGC said he and the Prez of SFL G club are both in on a Eastern meet this summer. Ideas included Tail of the Dragon area so we can meet and drive!

I just spoke of this Poll for an east coast.

For those in the west coast, It looks to me that this year may too much for some for a national meet in vegas...so Maybe we should have two meets this year-an east and west coast meet. Then from the meet, we could compare numbers, attendence area, furthest driven and even create a vote for a national meet location place.
Then I do believe for both this year and the national meet, we need to create various driving routes that pass common areas with plenty of stops along the way so that poeple can join along the way. Like from the Northeast to the meeting location, southeast to the meeting location...rally points and points of interest along the way, kind of like the hot rod power tour does.

What is everyone's thoughts?

More details about what NGC and SFL G club are thinking? What do they think about the zcon? etc...?
As a side point, I would be all over a meet near the Tail of the Dragon. My aunt has a house in Robbinsville so that would be awesome. But I kinda like the idea of the ZCon because it seems to me like more people would come.

^Currently the plan is to have two meets this year, one east and one west and use these to gauge the feasibility of one big meet next year. Thus far, there are no real plans on the west meat other than that it will probably be in Vegas. The east meet will be either at the tail of the dragon in NC at ZDayz (or possibly another date) or at Nissan Headquarters in Nashville at the ZCon.

man im in kansas and im in the freakin middle either way is a drive. lol but im still down for vegas! i need to GTFO of fort riley kansas. soo whenever the meet is for vegas i need to no ahead of time so i can request leave for it.....and please dont do this mega meet next year..cuz ill be in afghan this winter and i dont wanna miss out on the mega meet.
