!!G35Driver.com MEGA-Meet Location Poll!!
Commitee needs to consist, not only of people from different areas, but also people who have experiance dealing with lots of people, such as club presidents, people that have actualy pulled together meets in the past, and G35Driver staff.
Janik, leave this poll as is. Keep discussing things here as necessary. When you (and the committee) come up with your final recommendations, then create a new poll if needed.
I really do think if you want a national meet with the most areas of the country represented you need a location like KC. Dallas is probably too far south for most people in the Northeast and Northwest even thought it's in the middle of the country. Vegas is far too West for people on the East coast, and TN is probably the same for people on the West coast.
The reality for me is I don't care, if my G is repaired or I have another G one by then I will probably come. I live almost right in the middle of the country so KC is obviously very close and convenient for me, but I can also drive just about anywhere within 2 days. I have a lot of friends from KC, so if you need ideas on places to contact there (like hotels, etc.) let me know and I can ask them for suggestions.

lol, I'll provide info where I can, but I don't have that kind of time commitment right now. Too busy with a new job and a bunch of different projects at the moment + studying for certifications + getting ready for the GMAT.
^ No prob. Can you think of anyone specific from the staff that might be willing to be on the committee? I'm still fairly new here, so I don't really know the staff that well.
truth is, you do it in the middle very few people will show... east and west a like. it's a long drive for a meet. if you do it in Vegas, it's more than a meet. people can justify the trip a lil' easier.
if this goes nowhere then we'll just do a NorCal vs SoCal mashup caravan/mega meet... not to be a d!ck BUT it'd prob end up being the same size as a national meet in nowheresville anyway.
I can't understand why you guys would want to meet in vegas. Do you know how hard it would be for a couple hundred g's to be in vegas at one time. hectic. You can't have a potentially big meet like this in a busy city like vegas it won't work.

And before you say you base it on the poll, consider this poll:
Where would you rather have a meet?
Your own back yard / Somewhere halfway across the country
If there were some really nice G35's from all over the country meeting at a barn in the middle of Nowhere, KS I would still go, because I'm in it for the cars and the people, not the city.
And before I get accused for just hating on Vegas, all my statements apply to everyone who voted Florida as well. And if Nissan doesn't back the event, I know there are about 40 voters for TN that are going to feel pretty dumb.
