Which ROM did you use to fix the BT problem or was it a new BT stack? Let me know. Im very interested in getting my HTC 8525 (WM6) & Palm Treo 750 (WM6). Im beginning to think the problem is with WM6 (Windows Mobile 6) because when both phones were on WM5 they at least worked every so often. Now it flat out just doesnt work. Grrrrrr

Was this the download you used? If not, would you mind posting a link?

The latest bluetooth fixes for the Titan (xv6800/Mogul) don't seem to help with my issue (which seems different from your's anyway).

Blkcamarozr28, I believe the Kaiser uses WM6.

I'm having a similar issue...

I had the LG CU500 and had no problems pairing or using BT with my '07 G35x. I recently bought the Pantech Duo (WM6) and am having several issues.

1. When someone calls me and I try to answer the call (w/ steering wheel button) the 'counter' on the navi screen begins to count up like it's answered... BUT I CAN'T HEAR THE OTHER PERSON. Then the radio comes back on... then the radio turns back off. The person on the other end of the phone can hear all of this, but I can't hear them.

the other issue I have...

2. Sometimes I get in the car with the phone in my pocket (not in use whatsoever) and the car "thinks" I'm on a call so it turns the BT on. So, I'm driving down the street w/ no radio b/c my BT is on. Only thing that solves this is turning BT off on my handset, or turning the car off and back on!

I really hope there is a fix for this.... it is so highly annoying!

I just got an XV6800 after having the 6700 which worked perfectly with my 2007 G35x's Bluetooth System. This 6800 is completely unusable with the infiniti's bluetooth system. I can barely hear anyone I call and they can't hear me at all. Will this fix work for that on the Verizon version of the Mogul, or does this just deal with the other complained about problems like calls dropping and echos?

That fix is for the Kaiser, which is a different phone from what Verizon calls the xv6800, Sprint calls the Mogul, and HTC (the manufacturer) calls the Titan.

The best fix I've found for our xv6800 is to switch to "use handset", then switch back to bluetooth by pressing "phone".

I purchased a G35 about 1 1/2 months ago. I was in the market for a new cell phone and had my eye on the Tilt for months. After reading this and other threads about the 8925 and G35 compatibility, I was just going to go with the Blackberry Curve. But, knowing that I could take the Tilt back within 30 days, I went for it. Haven't had any problems connecting, maintaining a conversation or with clarity with my Nav system. I have been assuming that I would get a bad call intermittently, but so far so good. I wish I knew why there was a problem with others and their Tilt/G35 relationship.

I am a novice with electronics so I have not manipulated my phone in any way, nor have I messed with the car. No third party junk.

Maybe the ones on the forums are a vocal disgruntled minority (I would be too). Even if there is a minority of people with problems, it shouldn't be. I still read these forums because I expect to have to deal with this issue some day.

The Tilt is a Kaiser which has been reported not to work well (earlier in this thread) before a patch from the manufacturer (HTC), but to work well after the patch.

Hopefully, your's is working because it's been patched.

Here's a list of HTC phones with both their carrier and manufacturer names. http://wiki.xda-developers.com/

Congrats on getting a compatible device!

I have a Tilt which seems to work fine using bluetooth in the car. The phone was purchased mid December.

Is this patch going to work with the HTC TITAN (Mogul, XV6800, and etc)?

EDIT: Nevermind, I'm going to try it anyways.

The Kaiser patch didn't change the way my Titan works with the G.

Did it change anything for you?

Let's list the year, etc

So guys - for those of you whose Tilt or HTC version of the phone DOES work - what year is your G?

For those that have issues?

I have an 08 with an 8125 - looking at the 8925.

Maybe it is a combination of WM6, and the CAR firmware!??! 08s are different than 07s, etc.

I have a 2008 G35 with HTC 8925. It has worked wonderfully from day one. No problem pairing. Good reception. No dropped calls.

Do you have navigation?

As far as I've read, the issue only affects '07+ G35's w/nav. My Titan worked fine with a no nav 08.

If you read this thread you'll find a user that applied a bluetooth patch that fixed this issue with his Kaiser, but others have said it didn't help.
