Nav Flash screen

Does anyone know if there is a way to change the screen on the nav when it starts up. I was looking at getting a Tl and on the acura forums they had a way to change the intial flash screen before the disclaimer. I was just wondering if its possible to do on the 2008 G35 nav system

I believe it's Linux.... but I'm not 100%.
I remember reading that in one of the threads discussing the replacement of our hard-drive, for a larger capacity.

Someone in here has already pulled the HD image off. I haven't seen any new developments though.
