Stereo Mods in 07-08 G35 Sedan?

I haven't seen any posts regarding stereo mods in the 07-08 G35 Sedans. Has anyone done any? Is it at all similar to all of the mods folks were doing in the 03-06 G35's? I added a sub and amp to the OEM head unit on my 03 Coupe and 06 Sedan with no problems. Was just wondering if the wiring was similar - i.e. tying into amp in trunk, etc.

I'm looking for suggestions for the same, would just like to add some bass and a couple tweeters. I'm thinking about getting a sub control dial and replacing the cigarette lighter. Not sure how it will all go without any good EQ controls on the nav unit though....

Shouldn't be any more trouble than the 03-06, but beware that the Bose system (if you have it) does throw a wrinkle into the mix. Specifically, the Bose system cuts the bass pretty dramtically at higher volumes, so a stright LOC won't work. The JL cleansweep does the trick, but costs a bunch. Someone on this board found a cheaper version (less than $100) made by another manufacturer, but I can't recall the brand at this time.

Now I remember: it's made by MTX

As with the first-gen G35, the stock non-Bose HU is pretty good. I swapped out my speakers with a Hivi setup and it's pretty slick.

If you'll notice, his car has:

- a sport bumper in some pics and a non-sport in others
- different grills
- an intercooler that isn't connected
- a STB that isn't available yet

Last week, he got ridiculed about these items in a thread he started, which no longer exists for some reason.
