I whipped out the owner's manual to see if I can find out why I can't seem to discover how to switch to ipod through the dash controller. The manual said to hit aux and the ipod would work but I think they are expecting the ipod to be connected through the aux inputs but I got the ipod integration. The only way I'm able to switch is by hitting source on the steering wheel enough to cycle through the radio presets and get to ipod. What gives?

 

You can get to the ipod by pressing on the "DISC" button

 

the disc button on the dash and i can also get to it by hitting the SRC button on the steering wheel.

 

well hell I guess that's easy enough. Do you hit it twice to go from CD to Ipod?

 

yep. you hit the DISC button to toggle in between. the first day I had the car, I couldn't figure out how to get the ipod to work for the life of me and my salesman didn't tell me (don't think he knew). Somehow I stumbled across the DISC button and figured it out.

 

On my G the "DISC" button also says "AUX"...I can use it to toggle from IPOD, CF, harddrive and CD changer. Now if they could only come up with a way to quickly scroll through the artist listings but that's way off topic.
