Need help with stereo and back up camera

I think pushing the aux button is better then cashing out 3k for the factory one!.
I'm thinking of doing the review mirror that splits in to the camera when placed in reverse like my Tahoe.

They have a great system that goes over the original mirror. Wire it through the ceiling and straight to the camera. Its a bit more expensive but easier and you can keep the RCA cable open for the Ipod.
Still cheaper then factory.
