Alarm or Battery Issues?

Hi - I have an 07 g35x that had the dealer-installed enhanced (audible) alarm. I always hated it (way to sensitive), but today something entirely different happened.

Upon hitting the unlock button on the keyfob, the alarm started squeling a pretty high, very fast and repetitive beeping noise. Wasn't the normal alarm sound, but the same sound over and over.

Power doors weren't working via the fob or by actually hitting the buttons inside the car. We couldn't start the car, either.

We disconnected the battery and tried resetting the valet, but connecting the battery back up made the thing start beeping again.

Anyone have experience with this? It seems as though the battery died somehow and the alarm was making the appropriate warning noise. We are going to try jumping the battery next and see if we can get the thing charging and hopefully reset the valet.

VERY weird stuff like you describe happen when the battery has very little power. More than likely, your battery is a goner.
