yes you certainly can. the KP module comes with independently adjustable up and down timers (although i think one would have been sufficient in reality since you really want the same amount of travel in each direction so the mirror always ends up in the default/original position).

now the odd thing is that i remember in my acura tl the mirror would really go down and give you a great curbside view, but i find that the G mirror doesn't seem to go down very far, but regardless it goes down enough and i can easily see where i am in relation to the curb when parking, etc.

cheers!
Bob

sorry, no, i should have clarified. the tl had this feature included from the factory but like i said it seemed like that mirror would go down a lot more.

that was what i actually liked about acura, it had every feature my g35 didn't and it was a 2002. the only options were navigation, or non-navi.

it had heated seats, a self dimming rear-view mirror, memory seats, curb-assist and heated side mirrors and a bose amplified system with subwoofer. i have to admit that it really irked me that i had to put in my own dimming rear-view mirror when i bought my g. things like that should be basic on a car such as the g35.

ok ill get off my soapbox.

yeah i really gotta say that it was a great car. it was the type-S with the 260hp vtec and factory bodykit. i had done intake, headers, plenum/tb spacers, lightweight crank pulley and dropped it with bigger swaybars. it was pretty formidable for the time. now it would be slow though lol.

but yeah it bugs me that i have to pile on 3 different packages when buying a new car just to get some of the same stuff acura puts on their base models. and i know a lot of people will say something like "well acuras are cheap" or whatever but i think you all get what i'm saying here.

even my 1994 taurus SHO had self dimming headlights, dimming rearview mirror and a sunroof!

ok i swear im done, ha ha.

'twas a 2002 sir. ended up totalling it at 147k miles. it was always a reliable vehicle, even when i sucked water up into the intake! all my mods dyno'd out around 290hp so it was fairly quick for a fwd car.

i did have 3 transmissions put in but they were all under warranty. the 02 tl was infamous for bad transmissions and acura could just never get their hands around the issue.

I asked my electrician to make it work after 1sec delay, because initially this module worked every time I switched from "P" to "D" (through the "R") - I hated it.

harp00n, that's really odd. I wonder why it did that. There is supposed to be a slight delay. you may have a bad module. contact KP.
