So if there is an audio/video input in the center console will the cars dash monitor show video that is playing on your connected iPhone/iPod? If not then what can the video input be used for?

 

The car has to be parked AND the parking brake must be on for video to show on the center dash monitor. There are ways around those requirements, but discussion of how to do that will result in this thread being deleted.

Plus, video while driving is a good way to end up dead.
