A compact flash question...

So after searching these forums, most are using 2gb CF cards. My question is how are you loading them on to your CF cards from your computer because from it seems like, my computer doesn't have a CF card slot. Only SD card slot. I see there are converter from SD to CF, do those work fine? Thanks guys.

EDIT: Sorry guys, I should have clarified some. I was referring to my CF card slot on my G35. I just ready my post and yeah that was very confusing.

You know this is a G35 forum? Did you mean to post this here? I'm not aware of anyone ever stating that they were using 2GB CF cards.

Just in case I'm moving this to the photography section...

I just bought a card reader from Tigerdirect.com for $15. As for converters, I remember hearing on here they work well, but are kind of bulky compared to a regular CF card.

Just get a CF card reader and attach it to your computer. Or, if your printer comes with it, you can go through that, too. That's how i do it.

I think this thread needs to go into the Tech/V36 section.

CF slot for the G35? Hmm..Am I missing something? I think I am way behind all the new mods, if there is any.

V36 Premium packages have a CF card slot (music playback).

Between the CF, the audio-in, 6-disc changer, in-dash cd, fm/am and xm, Infiniti tried their best to cover as many bases as possible.

well.. regardless of where this thread should go, I usually just buy a USB multi-card reader.

Plugs into your USB port and you can stick just about anything in there and download to your card.

I have a couple of these lying around at home:

And this one at work:

Okay guys...now i've just purchased a SD to CF adapter. Basically just place a SD card into CF adapter and place that into the slot of the car. My music formats are .mp3 or .wav and when I place the card into the slot it says no audio files present...what gives? I wish I wasn't so technologically handicapped.
