I was wondering if anyone has additional pictures/installations of a setup similar to this one:


Basically, the unit is in the ash tray area. In this particular setup, they have fully replaced that ash tray and removed the door.

I would like to install something that maintained the door, thus making the system completely hidden if the door is closed.


I am assuming it has a remote detector installed up in the grill - does anyone have any ideas or experience here?

Here are some other pictures. This one is using the V1, which I would prefer. I wonder where the actual "eye" for the detector is installed?

Would love to know more about an approachable setup for one of these. I've researched them before, and couldn't find one for cheaper than $600-$700...
