I just purchased my G35 it has nav/satellite, cd changer, and a iPod integration adapter in the center console. I am trying to use my apple iPod classic 120GB (7th generation) MY PROBLEM: I purchased the iPod cable from someone on eBay, when I plug the cable in to the adapter socket and plug in my iPod under AUX the screen says No iPod connected. I even tried plugging in my iPhone 4 and still nothing.

DOES ANYONE ELSE HAVE THIS ISSUE?
CAN ANYONE HELP?

JP

I had the same problem when i purchased a non compliant cable for my vehicle when the stock cable went dead. I ended up having the purchase a new cable straight from the dealer and everything worked fine plus alot better made cable.

aux isn't where it would come up, it comes up under disc (toggles between ipod and cd). i've heard others having problems with non-infiniti cables. sadly, seems the only way to fix it is to suck it up and get one from a dealership. also not sure about the ipod, but my iphone 4 and 4s both work in my 08 without problems (other than not being able to charge).
