I would like to pull my storage box up to push the factory ipod control jack, cable, and charging adapter underneath with only an extension coming through. Do you have to pull apart the entire thing like they did here? https://g35driver.com/forums/v36-diy...le-hidden.html

Better yet, can I release the stock input and push it through the existing hole?

Yes, you have to take it apart. You can't just push it through because the "block" is attached by screws from the back side.

 

Thank you. I was going to try prying it out this weekend. It looks like push clips hold it in place. Odd design for a peice held in on the back side with screws. Thanks!
