Sub cuts out

Hey...I had a sub installed in my non Bose v36 an occasionally the sub stops hitting on it's own. It may restate after I turn off the vehicle and sometimes it takes a couple restarts. Also, the amp is receiving power while this is happening and even when the sub is normal, if I turnoff te engine and keep the stereo going, the sub no longer bumps. Thanks in advance to any reply...unless it's mean haha!!

This is going to take a while because I have several thoughts. Lets keep it simple to start... Are you using a line output converter (LOC)?

Check the connections of the LOC to the speaker lines and check that the RCAs are tightly seated. If either is loose then you'll get a break in music.

No, I prefer to keep it on this forum so others can discover the solution as well when they have a similar issue. However, if you need to ask something not pertinent to this thread, then you can PM
