I just recently picked up a 2007 g35x tech package fully loaded the previous owner of the car had bought a used 2008 back up camera with the trunk lid and also the module/harness and wires for the 2008 model i cant seem to find a wiring diagram to see where all the wire plug into does anybody have pics or info on this because im pretty sure it can be done since the 08 model has the same nav and headunit?

 

Well it looks like you have the camera control unit and everything you need there. If the head unit is the same then you should be able to plug and play the camera. The manuals are here (click link below), courtesy of another member. Just go to the AV section.

I could have sworn one or two members here or on myG37 have done it. Did you do a search yet? Just google "camera" and "myG37" or "g35driver" and you'll get a bunch of results. I thought one member just installed the stock camera last summer. The only issue is that the camera control unit also uses the yaw sensor in the steering wheel for input so you won't have the active lines that move to show you your projected path as you turn the steering wheel but in my opinion having a backup camera is well worth it either way.
