I have a 2007 g35s with the bose and navigation. I have never used the cd changer in the Trunk. I'm currently hacking a grom audio unit up to work with the cd changer interface. However, i noticed that the 12v battery line and Accessory 12v line at the Cd changer is dead. The. Head unit doesn't recognize the cd changer either.

I have had the Head unit out before, but I don't think I disconnected anything. I'll be checking tonight though.

Is there anything else I should check?

 

eh. apparently awhile back I disconnected the harness on the right side of the trunk that goes to the CDC. I think I did this because I never use it and got tired of having to cycle through the CDC as a source

 

So now your using it? I want to sell mine for someone that don't have one. Change out the liners was my idea

 

not using the CD changer. I am using the CD changer interface to get a Grom Audio USB adapter installed. I wasn't getting power through the connector so neither the CD changer nor the Grom Audio unit would power on since there was a second connector that was disconnected...

 

I use it on long car rides w/ the wife since I don't want to put her music in my iPod. Lol so I would let her put the CD 's in the trunk. But I do want to get rid of it and get the normal trunk liner in there.
