I am considering an update for my 2007 G35X Sedan. Apparently the dealer needs to do it, but what improvement will i get and will a lose some of my hard drive space?

 

Nobody cares about things like that here, unless I'm wrong :P

 

I had G35 2008 some time back and was thinking about adding the vline system that gives full Android interface, but never got to installing or buying one. You may check with GROM to see if 2007 is supported also.

 

You will get an updated navigation software that will still be 2-3 years out of date. Personally I wouldn't bother with it, take the $150 that Nissan will charge for the update and buy a decent Garmin and adhere it to the existing NAV screen.
