i know that the ICC uses a horizontal radar beam aimed at the front cars rear bumper to eye the car and if lowered it would theoretically lower the radars beam and target the tires rather than the rear bumpers imo. but not researched, maybe someone who has dropped their car and has ICC can pitch in.

I just had my car lowered and my CC works fine. On the drive home I did notice something was up with it. I was getting an error. After messing with it for a while during my 1hour drive home I figured out what the problem was. The sun was setting and low in the sky. Whenever the CC would throw an error was when there was direct sunlight shining straight in to the sensor. Every time the sun was blocked by one of the rolling hills I was driving around it worked fine but as soon as the sun shined directly into the front of the car the CC would stop working. That was the only thing that I noticed that could have been causing the problem. Since then my CC has not had any problems.

Sorry it's taken me so long to pipe back to you guys! It is a simple thing, more simple than anything I've seen, and I'm kind of embarrassed to have posted the problem! Right on the front of the ICC sensor, there is an allen head, and it controls the "angle of attack" on the sensor. If you peek through the grill, you can see if you're turning it up or down, and a little bit "up" fixed my problem. I should really fine tune it, but it's not kicking errors any more!
