245/40. the 35's just look too small and mismatched with the car. and the 40's match the 275/35 rears perfectly. everyone thinks the sidewall is bigger on the 245/40s but it ends up matching perfectly.

here's a pic with 245/40s and 275/35s on 19s.

Do you get any rubbing with 40's in the front?

The stock OEM lugnuts will not work with most aftermarket wheels, because of the built in washer. You should purchase aftermarket wheel nuts and locks for your new wheels.

Hey guys... are 32.8 lbs heavy for 20x9 rims?

I know the stock 17's are 30lbs and the 18's are 32lbs.

Wes, I don't know where you got those weights but those weights seem extremely heavy to me.

The rotational moment of interia also depends on where the weight is located.

Unless you plan to do a lot of tracking ... don't worry about it. Get the wheels that looks good to you.

blueslate - wow... the rims that im thinkin about are so heavy compared to yours... are yours forged? the ones im asking about are cast.

terryc - thanks. Ideally, I would prefer lighter and forged rims... but.. money is an issue... :S I would love to have the SL-5 DPE's... those are sick.

The 20x9 rims im thinking about are the vossen vvs-082 rims.

I thought the stock OEM 17s for our car was around 23-24 #s and I know the Coupe !9s weight 21# for the rear and 19# for the front.
I believe my 18 x 8.5 cast PIAA wheels are 26#s.

Here is site with lots of wheel weights. It isn't complete , but will give you an idea of weights.http://www.wheelweights.net/

Hey guys. I'm puttin a set of 20's on my X soon and i just wanted your opinion on what's the best tire size for the fronts and rears. Also i really wanted to put 20x10's in the back but you can't do that on an X right?
