brakes-rust 07 sedan

today i noticed that all four brakes discs
have a ring of rust in the inner part of the disc
about 1 inch wide, is this normal?

I have 2400 miles
any one else has these same rings?

thanks for any info on this question

Cast-iron rotors, they rust. This is normal. Look at them about an hour after washing your car, but before you've moved it. Rust all the way across the surface. Once you hit the brakes, it scrapes the rust off the areas that contact the brake pads.

Stainless steel rotors look prettier, but actually have a lower coefficient of friction.
