Stillen Sway Bar For 2007 G35

For those of you who are interested in installing the front / rear sway bar for your 2007 G35, please check carefully with stillen whether it will fit on your car, although they claim that it will fit on the 07G, that is not necessary the case. Best bet is to provide them with your VIN number.

What happened was l ordered my set of sway bar from stillen, and as confirmed by stillen, it should fit perfectly. However l had a problem installing the front sway bar, since, the front sway bar was not the same size and fit as the original sway bar. I contacted Stillen, showed them the pictures of the 2 different sway bar, and provided them with the VIN number of the car. They checked and later advised me that since the G that l got was the very first batch that they made, the front suspension assembly was from a 06 G, and not a 07G, (I guess Nissan, had a lot of spare parts left over from the 06 model). Now l have to send back the front sway bar back to stillen, and they will replace it with a 06G front swaybar. Since l live in Canada, l have to pay freight again to have it shipped here, sort of sucks.... but at least the people at stillen was very nice, and help me resolve this problem in just a hour.

Sounds to me like they sent you the wrong bars. I can almost guarantee you the 07+ G only uses 07+ parts. Can you imagine the logistics of having assemblies with different components?

We have another problem with Stillen... again. Man... now I'm really disappointed with their product quality, customer service, and outrageous pricing.

06 and 07 are completely different cars, and they should have known that by now.

The sport has some pretty beefy sway bars, so everyone seems to be waiting to see how aftermarket ones compare. Although you have an X, you may be first here!

If they are willing to make it right at their expense, I may not hold it against them. I also wouldn't blame you if you did though. Be sure to let us know how the bars fit and work!

I don't hold anything against them, they were very nice in solving my problem. really ordered many parts from Stillen previously, and have never had any problem, and they were always nice and courteous. I will give u guys an update when l get the front sway installed.

btw the stillen long tube is worth the investment

News-Flash!!!

The stillen front swaybar for the 2007 G35 does not fit a 07 G35X sedan. They advised me that they do not have anything that will fit the front as of yet. buyer beware.
