With the $500 quote I got for front pads and rotors and the "labor," I'd almost do just as well to fly you out here!

It really isn't worth $500....

You can take your rotors to places like Pepboys and they'll resurface them for $10 each (for those who need to). Thats $40 for all for rotors......OEM Front pads $50 and Rears $45 (www.everythinginfiniti.com). Add about an hour and change of your time and you're done.

Well, I just went ahead and got new ones. If you can feel the outer edge of the rotor just outside the annular ring where the pads run, then the rotors are probably too thin to resurface, right? I'm going to get them microed anyway and if they are within spec, I'm writing a mean letter to the stealership.

im running stock rotors on my 04 coupe 5at .. each rotor was like 90 bucks from my nismo .. and i got endless brake pads for like 110 .. i also bought new retaining springs/quides, i think those were like 16 bucks ...

i think i can get a southwest flight for like 120 bucks round trip haha

Hey guys, I have a diy video on how to do brakes on the 1st gen.. it should be pretty much the same I think.
